Dear friend,

First, I want to personally thank you for being a part of our time of celebration this Sunday. Here at Living Way we recognize that you had many choices with regards to worship and are blessed that you have chosen to worship with us this week. If you are like me, when I go and visit a church I am always curious about what they do and why. Thus, I would like to briefly take this opportunity to introduce you to who we are.

One of the first things you will notice about Living Way is that we are multicultural. When you consider the fact that only two and a half percent of churches in America are like ours, we hope that this will help you see the hand of God at work in this church. Our heart is to look like the region God has planted us in and that you will know and see we have a heart for all nations.

Next, I am certain that you will have witnessed and experienced a sense of family as you worshipped with us today. We work hard to build unity, love and genuine friendship that will be a source of comfort in times of struggle and joy in times of peace. We want you to know we are not perfect Christians and don’t expect you to be either. In fact, you will be loved and accepted for who and what you are, right where you are.

It is also our hope that you will witness and partake in our passion for Jesus, through how we worship, pray and present His word. I want you to know that here at Living Way we are uncompromising in His word and Christ’s authority over His Church. It is our design and desire for you to experience vibrant, moving, Spirit-filled worship that is relevant, inspiring and life changing. Thus, we embrace the supernatural gifts of the Spirit of God unapologetically. Yet, know that we value balance, integrity, and all things done under the direction of the Holy Spirit who brings truth.

If you have children, it is apparent that we place great value on your kids, regardless of their age. We have purposefully built strong, healthy, loving ministries for our young people. These ministries are designed to produce children whose lives are shaped by the Word of God and its principles for living. Our children’s pastors are highly qualified, loving, and nurturing. Thus, we hope knowing and experiencing this will allow you to receive what God has for you today. Oh, and by the way… your kids will want to come back!

Dear One, hopefully this brief introduction helps you understand “what makes us tick.” Know that I recognize the great value of your presence with us today. In fact, I hope that you realize we were expecting you today, believing you will become a part of us and join in what God is doing here at Living Way.

Finally, let me encourage you to be yourself, enjoy the morning… Go grab a cup of coffee, meet some new people and enter into our dynamic worship as we seek the face of the living God. Prepare your heart and mind for a relevant fresh word from God.

My wife, Nicholle, and I are honored to have you as our guest and we hope to see you again soon!

Blessings,

Pastor Dave
